Battle of the Bands

We went to the Battle of the Bands at Billboards on Sunday night. Four of our friends made it into the state final, which was pretty awesome. However, the pricing of the tickets was waaay too much, which prevented many of us being able to attend. We have just come back from schoolies, so everyone is broke! So the band before them who were good, but not placing-good, had so many friends becuase they were old and could afford it! Therefore they placed because they got enough hands in the air; what a stupid system.

House Party!

Hello! We went to our three friend's housewarming on Friday night. They have moved out for the first time, albeit around the corner from their respective parents. I guess it has given us an expectation of the change that is to come as our lives move forward and evolve.

Finishing year 12 has been pretty scary and with our results/impending doom arriving in 7 days!!! the change is inevitable. For one of us the results don't matter because she wants to do fine arts however, for the other it is going to determine the next 3/4 years of her life, eep.

Some are taking gap years, others will continue to party and a minority of our friends will choose to go to stress out at uni straight away. For now though we can all enjoy our time off together and forget that our real lives are about to "begin".
